Bonjour tous !

Hello Jan
Two models of comut exist for L6 cars. Energol's picture shows the first one, with wires screwed on the comut. The second one has pluged wires. I suppose your model is the first one, as, on the other, the colors are both on the wires and on the comut.
If you confirm it, I am able to send you this evening the pluging place of each wire, if not done before.
Be careful to never switch on the battery if the comut is not isolated from every metal part of the car : all the comut is permanently relied to the positive pole of the battery! Regards. JM |

Hello Jean-Michel!
Yes, it is the lightswitch with the screws as shown in the picture.
I have a box full of them, from Dyna and PL17´s, but they are all the screw type!
So it would be nice if you could tell me where to put what.
I have the original PL17 manual, but the wireing diagram only shows wich coleurs goes to the comut, but not WHERE on the comut!
Thanks for the warning to isolate it from the body.
The nut centered in the middle, is it +?
So, you live in Avignon?
Lovely place, I was there in 1974 for my hollyday.
And thank you for helping me! _________________ "panhard, c'est la vie" |

Hello Jan,
I think that Jean-Michel will give you soon the solution to your problem.
Where do you live in Danemark? I went to Herning in 1992 for the ICCCR on a bike with a GS Citroen engine. Were you there with a Panhard?
Have you photos of your car(s)?
Regards
Energol |

Sorry, it's true that there are only the colors of wire, but not their site.

Hello Jan.
Sorry to be late, but it's less easy than I hoped : the colours on the electric scheme are written with very small letters, and partly impossible to read. I'll try to rebuild it.
Take the picture of Energol. I think you can fit without mistake:
Blue with "Ph" (high beams)
Green with "C" (low beams)
Black-yellow with "A1" (horn-soft)
Black-red with "A2" (horn-loud)
White-green with "ID" (turn signal right)
White-red with "IG" (turn signal left)
The red wire (the thickest one) is screwed on to the center nut of the comut.
All of this I am sure of.
There remains two wires, a brown and a white one. I think the white one (which comes from the turn signal unit) fits with "+". The brown is for the position light front and back, but there are two connections, so I am not sure.
I have to check this on another car. I will get back to you as soon as I know.
Best regards. JM |
